I am an Assistant Professor of Sustainability at Hofstra University. My research is situated in the fields of feminist geography, sustainability studies, agrarian studies, and community economies.

My dissertation research focused on how direct market farmers experience and navigate the trend toward market digitalization. Current research includes an examination of composting participation and access in Queens, NY and a collaborative project on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) simulations to enhance driver safety during severe weather.

I am originally from Mendoza, Argentina, and I partially grew up in Madrid, Spain. I am currently based in Brooklyn, NY.

I hold a Ph.D. in Geography with a Designated Emphasis in Feminist Theory and Research from the University of California, Davis, where I was a member of the Galt lab.
